2016 starts off with a sweet surprise from Lauren Kay, releasing her sophmore album, Single Mama, on Jan 8 by her new record label, Baldwin County Public Records.  Much like the debut album, Single Mama is personal and intimate.  Lauren's vocals seem almost touchable as they tell of innermost secrets and experiences.   Producer, Anthony Crawford, puts his handprint on the songs and dives deep into the groove on songs like Big Guns, Single Mama, and More to Me with pedal steel, piano, and electric guitar although it's the stripped down sensitivity of Untouched Letter that could choke you up if not give you a complete meltdown.  If all this goodness wasn't enough, this album will include the official video for More to Me as well as an insert with all song lyrics and new photos.

Baldwin County Public Records is Born

It was a Tuesday morning, July 7 to be exact when Baldwin County Public Records became official. 
 
The idea of forming a record label in Baldwin County had been stirring for quite some time in the mind of
Jeffrey Zimmer.  He put the pieces together when he approached Admiral Bean Studio owner, Anthony Crawford, to partner with him and form Baldwin County Public Records.  There is so much talent in this county it is only logical for someone to create a place for the talent to grow.  

With the vision of Jeffrey Zimmer and the recording prowess and music savvy of Anthony Crawford, this was a match made in heaven.  We are excited to bring you Baldwin County Public Records and can assure you that every artist that lives here, is a true artist that we believe in.  Their music will touch you.  And we will make sure that it is heard.
